Norm Pro, Principal

Norm has 44 years of experience in construction and as principal of Construction System Inc. (CSI). His experience as a master carpenter and construction superintendent/project manager allows CSI to perform successfully in many facets of both commercial and high-end residential construction. Norm's hands-on approach with each project has earned CSI the trust of its clientele. His expertise and knowledge of construction is the key to leading a successful construction firm in today's environment. Norm brings experience and talent to the table in providing value engineering to both commercial and residential projects.

Norm started his long career as a master journeyman carpenter, in 1973 he became Project Manager for Stone Brothers in charge of hte Concrete Division. He was responsible for and completed projects including: multi-story condominiums and industrial buildings. In 1982, he formed Sheffield Development, a development and general contacting firm with 75 employees. This firm developed new townhomes, condominiums and multi-level garages throughout the Chicagoland area. One example is the Sanctuary located at Fullerton and Sheffield in Chicago. The Sanctuary project includes an 80-unit condo rehab with 16 new townhomes and underground parking for 90 cars. The cost was $11 million. Another project: Greenbrier Condominiums at Surg Street and Broadway, whose cost was $16.5 million.

Norm also was a major participant on commercial construction projects in Texas. This venture was named Midwest Building Corp. The firm erected medical offices in Houston and Humble, Texas. In addition, his resume of commercial projects includes 15 new Mrs. Fields' Cookies and 6 Bombay Imports stores.

Norm has built a reputation on delivering projects on time and within budget. This reputation was earned through honesty, hard work and years of experience.
